THE ESTATE     Introduction     Little Blackhall & Inchmarlo     Accommodation     Directions	Little Blackhall From the traffic lights in Banchory High Street take the B974 over the Dee bridge, go round the bend and almost immediately turn sharp right to Auchattie and Scolty Hill. After a while there is a stone wall on the right hand side of the road - follow this until there is a turning to the right with a dead-end sign. You ignore the Auchattie signpost to the left and go down this narrow lane for about 2 miles. Eventually the road bends upwards past a steading and down again past Fir Cottage and South Lodge on the right. A few yards after these cottages is the entrance to Little Blackhall on the right which is clearly signposted. Lairds Cast Inchmarlo Take the North Deeside road out of Banchory and after about one mile the Inchmarlo sign will be seen. Turn left into Lairds Cast when you see two black iron gate posts.
