THE RIVER     The River Dee     The Catch     The Pools	Along with pretty well all beats on the Dee, 2010 was the best for many years. The spring fishing was about average, but the real feature was the hugely improved autumn run - September being particularly productive. Sea trout numbers also improved. It's too early to say that the Dee is returning to its old self, but cetainly the signs are really hopeful. The experimental fishing in October, which we very much hope will be made permanent, showed all our pools well stocked with a good number of fresh fish amd allowed us to radio-tag some of the 30 total on the middle beats.
